Your gift will help the museum continue its mission to promote a greater understanding and appreciation of the life and work of Frederick Douglass and his family as well as identify, document, and preserve the social and cultural histories of Highland Beach and Venice Beach.

We also work to preserve the house and its artifacts, update the museum exhibits, enhance the website and partner with the community to preserve family histories.
