CELEBRATING JUNETEENTH

POETRY & REFLECTIONS ON FREDERICK DOUGLASS

We enjoyed our Highland Beach and Venice Beach youth recite original poems written by talented students of Gonzaga College High School. The program also featured powerful Juneteenth-themed poetry composed by distinguished African American writers.

We invite you to consider how you can help us continue the work of preservation, education and celebration!
